OBJECTIVE Responsible for assisting the Assessment Coordinator with the evaluation of clients for our program. Additional work with the Career Development Team, whose functions include teaching the JFY eight-day Job Readiness and Life Skills Workshop. Tracking progress of clients who have been placed into jobs is also an integral function of Career Development.

  • Conduct one-on-one interviews with the clients to evaluate their previous education and work experience, to determine their educational and career goals, and to enroll them in the appropriate program
  • Administer applications and tests (TABE), which assess work experience and grade level of client.
  • Assist in proctoring and scoring of tests.
  • Maintain the assessment room (stock supplies, make copies, etc.)
  • Follow up on assessment activity and arrange appointments and/or inform clients of workshop dates.
